Australian citizens of Indian-origin on Sunday gathered in Melbourne to show support for the abrogation of Article 370 of the Indian Constitution which had accorded special status to Jammu and Kashmir. A rally led by Kashmiri Pandits from Victorian state parliament to Federation Square also followed, news agency ANI reported. People in traditional Kashmiri attire held tricolours and placards which read, JK is our motherland.India is our nation. They also sang patriotic songs during the rally.
